A Battle Won

Winning a battle

As the scourge of a thief robs without leaving even a tiny crumble in it's trail, a war raged, and a battle was won. So here I am to update and chronicle the event.
All along, the goal here at this Hospice House has been to set up a plan to tame the symptoms and the pseudo bowel obstruction itself. I'm on a laundry list of medications so that needs to be whittled down and straitened out.

The poop was flowing with an infusion of octreotide. We had to find out if this could be stopped due to various reasons. So they cut it back until they finally stopped it all together and I am still  pooping! Yay! There will be a little more fine tuning as they found out a bad drug interaction could occur. And just to make the drug list easier for Chris to follow. Only time will tell now if it will be a chronic condition to keep medicating consistently, or we will just wait for the next flare up. Who knows what MS will throw at me next. It's always a shocker.

And that's what's happening here in my Home Away From Home, my Shalom Babayit for now
